2 things:

a) i did it with the idea of porting it into a screen 12 16 bit data command in mind, there is a better pne, but for the style of game i'm working on at the moment it fits the bill quite well (the charecters are as yellow as lego men)

b) i'm no tile artist

contains only 1 minor speech bug as far as i know

The stuff I'm looking for is like the stuff found in Tales of Alunia by Fenris Productions.

PxP movement and scrolling, etc. You know the drill.
