Tip: When drawing the animal, use short strokes as opposed to long.

Short strokes give the impression of fur, short =~ 0.05"

The long strokes you use now make it look flat

If i had a scanner! Sad

If you look in my page, all of the cheetah outlines were made by me there. And at the Graveyard section you might find my first cheetah drawing: somewhere i could made it scanned, but with what a weird quality... That scanner was i think just before of completely breaking down.

And all these were made without seeing any cheetah in the real life. Just rarely some movies. Sad

Your drawings are nice, especially the first one. It simply look realistic by the positure (I can not really write what i think now - some more English knowledge would not hurt. Hope you will understand). On the second one i think the jumping is not really how it should look in the real life.

There must be a better future for the Cheetahs!

Yeah, I admit, the second is stiff,. but I had no side shot (to find what he looked liked like that) and was focused more on shaping him like a wolf.. So, I should get it next time since I've done it, and got a example of shape. lol

I got mine second hand awhile back, great deal, and Epson (Great copany, lol  ) had all the driver info online, and now I finialy got it going...

But don't disheart (I dout thats a real word, lol), I wish I had a sound system.. Sad

Start with basic body shapes. Ovals, to get the pos of each body part. Then you add the accual  shape of the body. Next you should add the details with color. Thats how you should draw without a model.

Your proportions are ok. But you need to work on the dynamics. Animals dont really run/jump like that =P
