Make a 3d screensaver(an executable) in qb or fb that simulates a rainy day. The camera can be static. Just to make sure people don't send in a 2d shaded particle engine, make the terrain bumpy and each raindrop splash semi accurately(accurately enough so it doesn't go through the ground) with the ground.

I'd try it myself but I don't have the time right now....schoolwork.

He doesn't mean a splash sound, he means have a surface for it to splash on.. :wink:
