I'm more in the "enjoy life" department. Go out. Have a drink now and then. Forget about qbxl.
Time management means finding time to do what you want while making sure you do what you need. It's hard to figure out, but there are 24 hours in a day and if you spend around 2 hours, even 1 hour studying and getting your ass in gear, that leaves many more hours to relax, work on computer projects and go out with your friends. It's tough - I still struggle with it, but you can have it all, in portion.
Unhooking your computer might be a good start. Leave it undone until the end of the semester. But you won't solve all your problems by just doing that.
One thing you might want to try is the "9-5" routine. From 9am to 5pm, do absolutely nothing but go to class, and study between classes. Then take from 5pm-whenever to do what you want, like you're back in grade school.

I'm sort of dehaiatused for a week because I've got a week off after exams. I'm not fully there yet (still got 4 exams to write), but the walls are down and the firewalls disabled. For now. Next sunday I'll probably throw them back up, depending on the results. :/ 1000101: Basics is Basic Electronics, a class where we learn to bias and design circuits using NPN and PNP transistors, Zener Diodes, LEDs, and rectifier diodes. Dr_Davenstein: This isn't high school. Everyone who made it to the second term has a story, and none of them are about slackers. This program is hell, it's meant to be hell. At this point, nobody cares that the reason I'm failing is because of a 'good' reason. We're playing for keeps. Jofers: Before I left the community I was doing 4 hours of studying a day. After I left, it fluctuated, but I ended up peaking at 6-7 in the last week of classes, for several days on a stretch. I was an honor student through high school, but this is a different beast. If I only did 9-5, I'd fail everything. On the other hand, I'll be able to make absurd amounts of money afterwards if I want to. That's worth something in itself. tbbq: Most classes I did fairly well on. I managed to get an A in calculus and physics, for example. I got a B+ in project management, 102% in Instruments, something in the mid 90s in IT Essentials, but 54% in circuits and the aforementioned 36% in basics. It's ironic as hell, but the truth is still depressing. Lachie: Thermodynamics sounds fun. Hope you get to continue it. DrV: No I wasn't. Anyway, that's the story. I need to get back to reading about project management. <gags>
