I've yet to finish the code for the Back and Forward buttons but other than that, it works great. All raw API calls, including the code to actually perform the various CD functions. I'll finish it up tomorrow and release it as a small example of not only GUI coding in FB but also of using the MCI.

The source is inside, i guess it could be recompiled on Linux if using the Wine libs, but i doubt it..

I don't much give a rat about linux right now, so to a linux version. It might work in Wine, but I'm not sure. I don't know how much of the MCI is emulated in Wine...anyone got any leads on that? It'll probably draw the window just fine but I don't know if it will function as intended.
