whcih language Fb is most similar - Quick Basic, Visual Basic or another? I want to know that, because I start to learn this programm language from 0 ("love"-right?) nut I know a bit the common laws. Another question too: Can you debug the compiler yourself?

P.S: Sorry for my bad English, I am a pupil from Germany
Been there, done that

QuickBasic.  I guess.  It's MS-compliant basic, but it does its own thing.

Ask around the forum on how to do things in particular.

For reference until a documentation is finished, use QB commands, and avoid DOS specific ones like graphics commands (LINE, VARSEG, etc).

The compiler is opensource, written in freeBASIC and C
So you can make your own version if you want.

And 0 = null, zero or love Smiley

FB is most similar to VBDOS, or QuickBASIC 4.5/7.1

And your english is better then some from UK/US, so don't worry, if we don't understand, we'll just ask what you mean.
