how do you delete a post?

I view my post but  I see an edit /delete button.
I click it and the new page that opens doesnt have a delete button??

Which post?, Give a link to it.

If it is the last post in a topic, (or only one) then you should be able to delete it, unless there's some permission error (there are a few)

there is a time limit on how long there is then after theat time has lapsed you can't edit i believe

If your post is the latest post in a topic and you're not an admin, you can delete it. If it's not the latest post, you can't do anything.

You can also edit any post you own (however in phpBB 2.2 there will be a time limit, to stop people going back and editing their arguments in flame wars).

Admin can do anything Wink
