This is my first drawing of a head in profile where I didn't use a model or photograph or anything like that for guidance. I scanned it from my pencil drawing in my trusty blank-sheet drawing notebook. It's the head of a man, mustache-d and bearded, with curly hair.
I personally thing the largest problems are with the nostril (it's to dark, and large), and the muscle lines I put in the neck and face. Also the tip of the nose is too messy - I just couldn't find an eraser Tongue . Of course I'm still very amateur, so I didn't expect more.
Anyway, if you could point anything out, I'd be grateful:

People are all about proportions.  The eyes are about halfway down the face, the base of the nose is about halfway between the eyebrows and chin, and the edge of an expressionless mouth lines up with each pupil.  It's a good start though, just keep on practicing.

I think its very good. The proportions are all wrong, but then again, look at most popular cartoons in the newspaper. Usually the proportions are all wrong, but that doesnt stop the picture being good art.

He should learn on somebody else's bandwidth. I don't care if nobody else minds, it's my opinion. I know many grown ups who tear people down.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to pick up my dry cleaning. Troll costumes are surprisingly delicate.

Wether it's good or not would depend on wether you were trying to do a comic character, or something that looked like a real life man.

Nice critique. Smiley
Ignore Nink...actually Ninkazu. He doesn't deserve a short form. Anyway, ignore him, he's The Eternally Negative.

Zap: Well, I wasn't trying to make it look like a real person. I mean, I was, but I didn't expect it to come out exactly in the likeness of man. I personally think it looks more detailed thank comic-strip people, but that's just my self-inflated, bloated, egotistical opinion.

I'd continue to discredit Ninkazu, but I think that homemade ginger-ale got unexpectadly alcoholic over night...*Dizzy*
Thanks for all the comments, people. Oh, not you Ninkazu.

My opinions:

Head is too narrow
Forehead is too prominent
Nose is a little flat
lack of chin.

thats about it i guess.  and the changes you should make shouldn't be drastic, just slight (with the exception of the chin thing).

Sheesh, you people still can't see the fact that Ninkazu is messing with you in a very harsh albeit humorous way? Wow. Cheesy At least I get it...but then again, I also understood Scrye's rambling about pie and pants, so...bleh. Tongue :rotfl:
