when I try and compile my program several severe errors occur, I am usingg qb 4.5s built in compiler.

1) else without if
2) end if without if
3) out of memory

however the prog runs fine in the ide

The code is too big to compile from within QB.


Try dividing it into modules...

Or compiling from the command line.

If I remember your code correctly, you hard coded a lot of data.  Reading the data from external files could cut the size of your program quite a bit.
