Switch to a graphics screen mode first.

You need to specify a screen mode.
Try the following using x = 0 to x = 13

screen x
pset(50,50)
end

if I remember correctly...
0 is text mode...pset won't work
1 is 320 x 200
2 is 640 x 200 bw
11 640 x 480 bw
12 640 x 480 16 color
13 320 x 200 256 color
