ok, I looked at the program. I remmed out the put statement for a quick fix, and it works fine. I could not see any difference in the program, despite the fact that the load option was disabled. Is this program shareware?? QB shareware? meh...

Actually, I was under the impression that a newsgroup was a long threaded stream of messages that you had to open with a special program like Outlook..

There are webpage-based newsgroup readers (kinda like what Hotmail is to email), it's possible he just got a little confused coz hey, this is qbasicnews after all Smiley
