They are stored in an extern lib called QB.LIB/QB.QLB. Load it up when using QB:

Code:
QB /LQB.QLB

or also (shorter):

Code:
QB /L

CALL can be used to access functions without declarations...or so says the QB help file.

The sad thing is that QB help is the least read document on earth. It seems that writing "CALL" and pressing "SHIFT+F1" means more effort than posting in a forum.

I agree with na_th_an. Many people just post here while the answer is neat and ready with an example in QB online help! Wink

Amen brutha Cheesy that's why the OBDS help system is comprised mostly of the QB help file itself, just some additions have been made and of course, some things mixed in from the PowerBasic help system and the MSDN, plus all the new stuff I had to write for new functions and whatnot.

The QB help file is the best single source of help for QB. And that is just that. Period!

Try www.qbasic.com. It has examples for using mouse in QB.

It should have commands, functions, command definitions, command explanations, ASCII list, screen lists, examples, Help on Help, Help syntax, data types, differences from BasicA, etc........

That's the help file.

What were you expecting?
