Eternal download is the best so far, followed by the jaw-dropping. But the sick one is available at qbnews.

Smilies are always funniest in context... and I just can't picture a context for the jawdrop, unless something's super-obvious. I think of smilies as a way to express tone of voice or to embellish a post, rather than to stand on their own as 'funnies'.

Try looking at syn-9's ZEROG for the first time when the most complicated thing you ever made before that was a pong clone...

But I do agree, they were made for expression of voice over the emotionless internet.

Still... if they were soley for that purpose, who would have bothered making the "eternal download"?

Me. But everyone has a say.

My favourites are the electrocuting demon, followed by the eternal download.

Anyone beat those? (Bonus marks for matrix smiles!)

I think that a good smiley should loop its animation in a seamless way. Like the previous one, for instance.

One of my favorites. Keep walking.
