Hey, just a question, why don't the posts get deleted after they've been inactive for a couple months?  This way, being the idiot that I am, I can't bring dead posts back to the top of the forum (hey wizardlife, sue me  :barf: ).

you can always check the date, and i'm having deja vu about all this.  just dont go trouging through the archives in the future.  you see a topic started in may 2002 for a 3-day poll you know it probably stay best where it lay.

I would not delete the old posts. I use the search function to find topics in the database (well, at least I did before the hack Wink ).  Most old posts are useful, 'cause most of times the quiestion you are going to ask is already answered.

The database is very useful, IMHO.

Posts aren't deleted for the reasons Na Than mentioned. They are valuable(some of them ;-)). phpBB doesn't have a lock post after 60 days inactivity yet, and I've not found a mod for it yet.

Why don't you try to contact Chaoticmass?  I know he could cook something up like Daedalus?
