Hmm... still seems like a big hassle. Starting and stopping in the middle of the song?

The best thingo would be using virtual synths on ACID or another program suited to load VS's Wink

But all that is soooo expensive unless you know how to use emule.

yeah, but the problem with that is it will load the MIDI channels, and you will have to replace it with the instruments that come with the program. it can be useful  :wtnod: , but this time I want to stick with the crappy original midi instrument.

and emule? bit torrent ftw...

thanks for the responses everyone.

Okay then. I wasn't aware of that limit on WSA. Audacity however, should work.

unless you mean loading the track into the program and the exporting them as a waveform. because that'll just leave the files blank.

I think he meant setting the Windows mixer record from the "Stereo Output", press REC on a recording program (i.e. Audacity) and PLAY on a MIDI player (i.e. Winamp).

i do it in Audacity all the time. I use it to rip Songs from the Video's on the web and export them in .mp3 format (shh, don't tell anyone Wink). Audacity allows you to change it from inside the Program, so I don't have to even look at my messy windows tray...

You could use Hidownload to download *any* streamming media from the internet which is not FLV...

For FLV there's a plugin for firefox which lets you download straight from youtube...
