I made a mini-post-it-note program in an hour today, I like it. However, I don't know if I will use it because my resolution is 800x600 so it isn't practical Wink

Thanks guys. I made it in VB6. It was my introduction back into programming. However you might not see anything from me again for a few months or a year or so.

Very nice!  Smiley

I would recommend it that you could have it as a start-up program,
where I would write myself a note, shut off my computer,
turn my computer on, and the note would still be there for me!  :wtnod:

I was thinking about that, but unless you would really use it, I'm not very motivated to finish it. It was more of a test to see if I could use the system tray and Always On Top. The latter didn't work very well (every time a new note is created or you view the About screen, the last item is set to normal mode rather than AOT).

I should probably mention that I got the idea from many free sticky note programs available at many places online. The ones specifically I tried are at freeware4pc.com, and they are feature-packed and work fine (most of them).

Like I said, this was practice for me, not meant to be a real application. Thanks though. Also full-featured sticky note programs with alarms are free all over the net =)

Oh yes.  Have I mentioned this program *rocks*?  It's really simple, yet so professional looking.
