I really don't have a clue. But just take into consideration the following "string": Microsoft (R) QuickBASIC 4.50 (C) Copyright Microsoft Corporation, 1985-1988 Yep, 1988. We're almost into year 2003 and people still uses this crappy language. Think about it. :wink:

On a side note went to the library to find some good ol open gl books. Found 0 but i found 5-6 Qbasic books

Heh - your library is so outdated  in my college, you can find 20 or so books about OpenGL/DX and 0 about QB. You can only search some references to QBasic 1.1 in MSDOS books.

Id agree with you, if it wernt for the fact these books were purchased less than 3 years ago. and i did manage to find one direct x book.

really why is it so important th at qbaisc survives?  ? I mean there are planty of other basics around and some are even better ( and no I didīt vote less then 1 year I voted mroe then 7 yearrs) oh and plz dont flame me for this post *pots on a flameprufe jacket*
