Hey, good job with that, torahteen. I like the effort with the grass. Oh and grass it fairly shiny here, so it doesnt look odd to me ^^

It looks a little tall for a dog house, but Good work!

Thanks kiz. I see what you mean about it being a bit tall. That's probably because it started out as a cube and then I extruded the roof up from that. All it would take would be some scaling on the y axis. Oh well.

I use Blender v2.41, although I think that rattrap and Zap use anim8or.

I use Blender..

As far as I follow:
Zap - Anim8or
KiZ - 3DMax
Dr_D - LightWave
dumbledor - Blender
Me - Blender

I think, I can't remember what the others have used in the past (for those not on the list)....

btw, great first try, Torahteen... The door might could do for a lil rounding out (unless you was going for a rough looking cut-out door).. Using shadows when rendering would have added more depth and realism....

That grass is awesome tho, prtty sweet!  :winkwink:

Can I change images? I took your advice, and readjusted the lights
I had 1 spot light and two sun lamps, which basically eliminated all of the shadows(I had one sun lamp on each side). Now I've deleted one of those sun lamps, and repositioned the other one. Looks a lot more realistic. Thanks rattrap Wink

Hmm, I don't see why not....

Aye, yeah, when you make a new light in blender, you have to set it to cast shadows... Basicaly, when the light is selected, in the material section you can set it's colour and whether or not it cast shadows and a few other things....  :winkwink:

Looks pretty good now btw, good job!

Sorry I didn't make one this time. I've been busy with a small project. I am going to vote though. Nice work, everyone! Wink

Id love to see the dog that lives in that house! It reminds me of the Daedra structures in Oblivion :)
