I couldn't find the patch, but I got around the glitch.   Thanks anyway.

Speaking of tax...
Canadians! Raise your hands if you want to storm Parliament Hill with me and force them to cancel the GST cut! For two reasons. Dropping the tax 1% will be barely noticable to average consumers. So consumers don't benefit, but the government loses craploads. Second, in Ontario the PST and GST add up right now to a perfect 15%, easy to mentally calculate. Drop 1% and you'll need a pen and paper. :x

As to consumers and the 15% tax, indeed.  Most gainfully employed people make enough that the extra few dollars a month are trivial.  Even heavy consumers are only going to be paying *maybe* as much as $25, and that requires you to spend $2500 a month on taxable products (ie: not food or shelter).

Right. So consumers gain a few bucks each, government loses millions.

Hope you guys don't mind helping me with this stuff, but anyway...another quest I'm having problems with is "Harlun's Watch" (a fighter's guild quest).  According to strategy guides and such you're supposed to find a dead guy named eduard and get a journal from him.  The marker leads to a specific spot in the cave which shows a bunch of skeletons and dead zombies on the ground, but this eduard guy is not to be seen.  I've searched the cave and found nothing.  Where is this guy?

He's in the swampy cave.  There is a couple skeletons (dead) and a dead zombie beside him.  Standing over the dead bodies is a cave troll and a chest beside.  Also, there is some debris from a broken crate or something right there.

For further hints, enlarge this:

All I see are 3 skeletons and a zombie on the lower part of that room, and a zombie on the top part.  With of course the troll...  I had a screenshot but couldn't find a way to put it on the post.  Oh, the pile of wood is there as well, but the guy isn't.

I got around it.  I ended up putting in a cheat that made the guy appear in the room.

PC Version: Open the console and use AdvancePcSkill <skill-you-want-to-raise> <amount-to-raise>, it will raise the skill be the number you enter. DO NOT USE A NEGATIVE! it will crash the game. It also counts to your level Cheesy
