Guess what! I'm back!

Wasn't suppose to be here until summer, BUT! This idea struck me a few days ago and I'm like what the heck..  Smiley

Rules: Starting now, you have until the 23rd to finish your model.. And no ducking out on a short deadline exscuse, I made mine in 30 minutes..  Tongue ..

Challenge: Make a Christmas Tree,. and for those that don't celibrate x-mas, just make a Evergreen tree..

Original 3D File not needed, tho it would be nice to have.. Only screen shots of the rendering need to be submitted.... I will tho request that the images be under 500x400, and images of large size and/or heavy weight (e.g. Kilobytes) should be thumbnailed..

Otherwise Enjoy!

Well, he said "make a christmas tree", and "original file is prefered"...well, the tree itself was made by me, but yes, the rest of the scene was prefab (except the presents...those are merely textured boxes). He didn't give any particular rules on anything else in the picture except the tree, and even that was merely a recommendation. Cheesy

It took about 2 hours to make, fyi.

.... And every one is going to let Nec win?

Come-on! I know for a fact that there are a good many others here that can use a 3D editor.... XD

.... Oh well....

Would a FB program using OpenGL be acceptable?

Trees are of course hard to do without professional software to build them for you, so I thought cell shading was a better way of pulling off an unrealistic tree. :)

More challenges please! Preferably of the non-organic variety :P
