Well, I bought the machine as individual parts, so I kinda had to open the case to get it all in there in the first place ;-). I understood the case open message was meant to be a security feature, so you could tell if someone had tampered with your machine. I didn't see it as particularly useful. For warranty purposes, they could just use a special sticker over one of the joins at the lid, take the lid off and you break the sticker, much easier and more reliable.
I had tio stick a pencil in the slot because I noticed the plastic piece
that fir in the connector whole was snapped off and wouldn't stay in.
Heh, once again, you really knew what you were doing huh?
