've written a plugin to the Firefox search box allowing a user to directly search the FB documentation wiki from Firefox.
To install copy the following code to a file named "fbdoc.src" in the searchplugins folder of your Firefox installation.
Code:

<search
      name="FreeBASIC Wiki"
      description="FreeBASIC Documentation Wiki"
      action="http://www.freebasic.net/wiki/wikka.php"
      searchform="http://www.freebasic.net/wiki/wikka.php"
      method="GET" >
   <input name="sourceid" value="Firefox-search">
   <input name="wakka" value="TextSearch">
   <input name="phrase" user>
   </search>

This required root access on my Ubuntu install, no such requirement on WinXP.
Restart Firefox if it is currently open. The plugin is now installed.
To use it click on the logo in the Firefox search box, this will bring up of list of items. Select "FreeBASIC Wiki" (it has no logo (not an artist)). Type in your search request and Bam, your done.

For the logo icon, it can be a simple 16x16 image saved to the [searchplugins] directory in any format that is recognized by your installation of Firefox. (I'll probably use the icon that is in the address bar of the FB homepage. ;-))

Note that the image must be 16 pixels high and 16 pixels wide.
Also note that the search is case sensitive.
